Principal Investigators
Domain-Specific Assessment is led by researchers, Louise Yarnall, Geneva Haertel, Larry Gallagher, (Center for Technology in Learning, SRI International), and Rob Johnstone (Consultant, Foothill-DeAnza Community College District). The team receives expert guidance from key consultants, Robert Mislevy (Department of Measurement, Statistics, and Evaluation at the University of Maryland) and Ernest Pascarella at the University of Iowa.

SRI    CTL

University of Maryland   EDMS The Department of Measurement, Statistics and Evaluation (EDMS) at the University of Maryland is one of the nation's best programs in quantitative methods.
University of Iowa The College of Education at the University of Iowa is home to the Iowa Testing Programs, an international leader in the field of educational testing and measurement.
University of Iowa Our partner institution, Foothill College, is one of two community colleges in the Foothill-DeAnza Community College District in Silicon Valley, CA. Foothill has an enrollment of about 17,400 students and offers 70 associate degree programs and 39 certificates to a diverse student population. It is a leading institution in assessment and accountability efforts to promote faculty use of portfolio assessments and "student learning outcomes" (SLOs).
